10/17a sail boat made from scrap and 3d printed parts
a fun, little project at university to develop a sailboat.
i found the plastic cushion with the perfect size in the trash and decided to use it as a basis.
the sails are made of plastic foil and fitted to the boat with 3d-printed parts that shape the sails into form and stabilize the whole boat. these connectors are planned so that the same connector can be used for all positions – apart from the positions on the edges where the respective feature is left out.
